I wrote this essay more than two months ago, soon after some personal, erm, "distractions." It came out in the Youngblood section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Today I originally entitled it "Quarter-life Crisis," but the editors changed it, apparently because that phrase has been used to death by countless souls like me determined to put a label on what we're going through.

Wake up and smell the Monoxide. Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Ayan nakaleave na ako kaya maasikaso ko na ang repainting project namin ng bahay. Nagsimula na kaming magbakbak ng pintura. Sana matapos namin bago mag-2008 no? Links to this post. Sunday, December 23, 2007. Grabe, i never knew i could work and party nang halos tuloy-tuloy simula friday, and still live to tell the tale. After umere ng saksi last friday, nag-christmas party kami - 1 am na yun ng saturday. Pero i still have another party with my...

man on the side: April 2005
http://manontheside.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Man on the side. Not for the faint of heart. or so i'd like to think. Saturday, April 30, 2005. Once is pure torture (*shudder*). I'm not going to be put through that kind of agony ever again. Don't get me wrong: Leo is a fine actor; Kate as well. And "Titanic" overallnot such a bad piece of filmmaking, when you think about it.
