Welcome to our Website. Corimist is a small show kennel (owned by Nicola Whelan and her sister, Jacqui Young) situated near Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. We have lived with Bearded Collies for over 36 years and cannot imagine our lives without them! Our Beardies are first and foremost well loved family pets and live in our homes but our love for this wonderful breed has developed into a keen interest in breeding and showing. Cancer and Polio Research Fund. We fund research into cancer and other crippling diseases at universities, research institutions and hospitals throughout the country. Our specialism is the spread of cancer, which is the cause of two thirds of all cancer deaths. We have recently made a significant discovery in the fight against cancer: a family of genes that is responsible for its spread. The next step is to develop drugs to control these genes so that we can stop cancer spreading and save lives.
