New Year, New Blog, New Story. January 18, 2013. January 18, 2013. The year is 2013. The blog is – well, mine. And the story – well, that’s mine too, but it’s sort of long. And involved. And hopefully epic, with plenty of mystery and time to discover new things, because those are the best kind of stories. So far 2013 has brought me the flu, some good meals with great friends, several frustrating arguments with my computer, and a lot of laughter. New Year, New Blog, New Story. Topics That Keep Turning Up.

Unsolicited thoughts on writing, publishing and creativity. What happens when writers get not only the ability but encouragement to publish their journals? You guessed it: publicly available angst. Whose idea was this, anyway? Exiled in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Writer, publisher; mother of two incipient adults, slave of cats. My husband has suggested my stare should be registered as a lethal weapon. View my complete profile. Visit Me on Facebook. Visit me on Myspace. Mercury Retrograde on Facebook.

Bridges to London: V&A re-redux
http://bridgestolondon.blogspot.com/2008/11/v-re-redux.html
Wednesday, November 12, 2008. I have a feeling there will be a lot of "revisited" titles in my posts from here on out. I've made it to all the "big ticket" tourist sites, and some I'm satisfied with, but others I know I'll want to see again before I leave. Sunday it was the Victoria and Albert Museum. As you can see by the picture, third time was a charm and I finally found the cleverly-hidden musical instruments gallery. It was worth. The hunt. An amazing array—surprise! Just a Plane Ride Away. Dreaming...

CORRUPTING THE UNWARY SINCE 1986. Saturday, July 19, 2014. What have we been doing since April? All kinds of interesting things! Doing experiments, with diet soda and Mentos. Trying on jewelry. All of it. Making and enjoying strawberry shortcake. Enjoying funnel cakes and lemon shake ups on the 4th of July. Building things at the children's museum. Pretty good summer so far. How is yours going? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Illinois, United States. View my complete profile. This is me .

Bridges to London: March 2013
http://bridgestolondon.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 23, 2013. Whole lotta history going on. At the risk of making this a blog only about museums. I was in another one last weekend that reminded me, quality-wise, of the great ones in London. Although this monument is pretty firmly rooted in the land of e-pluribus-unum, and even more deeply, in the good old Lone Star State. I have been meaning to make a trip up IH-35 to Austin with museums as the focus for some time, and finally decided that the last weekend of SxSW. While those rows and row...
