Katie Mae Quilts: Some Little Finishes
http://katiemaequilts.blogspot.com/2014/08/some-little-finishes.html
Friday, August 22, 2014. I just spent a couple days in Seattle with the boys, celebrating my birthday, where I learned that the Dude is now dangerous in quilt stores. He no longer complains about being there. No, he's in the shelves, picking fabric, and confidently ordering a quarter yard and three quarter yard. I also made a stack of burp clothes for my sister - Army ones for her husband. And UConn ones for her! Before putting the rest in the green bin. Whoop Whoop @ Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

Thursday, February 6, 2014. Road to Oklahoma - Washington Style - Finished! Sothis quilt. Bittersweet, on so many levels. See, our son in Korea lives with a foster family. It's about the only thing that's helped in the almost-two-year process of bringing him home - at least he's not in an orphanage, and from the pictures and videos, his foster mom seems to being doing a great job. So as a thank you, I wanted to make her a quilt. And I chose the block, Road to Oklahoma. The backing is purple flannel - bas...
