Textile Treasury: March 2015
http://textiletreasury.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
My life in stitches. Thursday, 26 March 2015. Lava Bread and Cushions. OK, a strange combination going on there, isn't it! Hello again, yes, a long long gap between posts, I know, and I'm not even going to try and explain why, and I can't promise it won't happen again! So, lava bread - what is it? Here is what it looks like in the tin:. And the resulting rissoles:. Thank you so much Shaheen, sorry this post is so late - and you STILL have not sent me your address so I can thank you properly! I've been in...
Textile Treasury: Restless Spring
http://textiletreasury.blogspot.com/2015/02/restless-spring.html
My life in stitches. Sunday, 15 February 2015. Well, hello. Yes, I know, it's been a while. And really, it isn't spring at all, just yet. But this morning, as I sit here at the dining room table, enjoying a cup of coffee with Jim as we listen to Just a Minute on Radio 4, the sun is blazing through the window, and there are green shoots thrusting above the soil outside. Garlic braving the snow and ice earlier this year. My own sense of restlessness is rather more amorphous; just that feeling that I can't ...
Textile Treasury: Preserving the Present for the Future
http://textiletreasury.blogspot.com/2015/01/preserving-present-for-future.html
My life in stitches. Thursday, 15 January 2015. Preserving the Present for the Future. Well I'm to a good start this year! I had to get all my jamming equipment out and check it over - it's been a while! See what I had, what I needed. Last time I jammed I used the pan of my large pressure cooker which I no longer have. So, where do I get a Maselin pan from, and how much is it going to cost me? Ok, minor rant over. We just had some marmalade on toast for our tea, and it was good! 15 January 2015 at 22:18.
Textile Treasury: Re-emergence
http://textiletreasury.blogspot.com/2015/07/re-emergence.html
My life in stitches. Tuesday, 14 July 2015. My second Fakenham Makers Market. A slight rejig of my stand presentation, Jim made a cushion stand for me, I painted it various colours, you can just see here. Lovely friend Yvonne Autie loaned me her hanging rail which made the quilts much tidier and easier to view. It worked! I sold a large double quilt! Another Moonlit Hare cushion attracted much comment, but did not sell this time. I could NOT leave out a couple of shots of the brilliant toilet facilities!
Textile Treasury: May Bank Holiday
http://textiletreasury.blogspot.com/2015/05/may-bank-holiday.html
My life in stitches. Tuesday, 5 May 2015. Unusually, this May Bank Holiday was mainly sunny, here in West Norfolk. Not always warm, though Sunday was actually HOT! Monday was dull then we had heavy rain which lasted throughout the evening and night. Unfortunately when I took the garden photos it was just a bit overcast, so not the best shots, to be honest. Some lovely Spring flowers - I always think our garden is at its best at this time of the year. And here is the finished LOVE cushion :. I also did my...

The secrets of my mind and the best of my goodwill. In An English City Garden. Gardens and music go together, and not just at Glyndebourne.
