Below are a few pics of my hair before I began my hair journey. You will notice that the pictures aren't specifically focused on the hair, because i was not trying to grow my hair at that point, but I have tried to pick out the pictures that best show my hair and what I thought was it's terminal length. In School 1998 - relaxed and shorter than ever! May 2005 - Natural but flat ironed. Feb 2006 - natural but flat ironed. May 2007 - Flat ironed but super duper dry! August 2009 - Natural but Hot Combed.

Saturday, 1 November 2014. Relaxer Day October 2014. I went to the hairdresser to get my hair relaxed on 25.10.2014. I'm not certain how many weeks post I was, but I'm sure it's at least 16 weeks. I've got some bantu knots in at the moment, 5 in total, one at the crown, two at the back and one on each side. Hoping for a great voluminous style for church. Let's hope it looks good tomorrow! My Current Wash Day Regime - Dec 2012. Friday is Wash Day. I still wash my hair once a week, but I have changed a few things. In total, this process takes about 6 hours so try to do it as soon as I get in from work so I'm not up too late. If push comes to shove, I will skip the roller setting and just air-dry over night, this cuts out about 2-3 hours off of the process. De-tangle hair and split into four sections and twist each. A Short-Lived Style: Crochet Braids. This past weekend I tried a new style! Crochet braiding is a technique of installing synthetic braiding hair into your braided hair using a crochet or latch hook needle. I had seen a couple of ladies on YouTube attempt this style and it caught my interest so I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't do a tutorial only because there are so many great tutorials out there. The tutorial I followed can be found on ToysVoice's. Here are some pictures of the crochet braids.

Wash Day Traditions- Nails. I will try and share my nail of the wash day (NOTWD) with you all as often as I can remember to take a picture. Lol! Nails are my second favorite beauty obsession.
