Always Friday: Potty Training: Day 1
http://alwaysfriday-carrie.blogspot.com/2010/01/potty-training-day-1.html
Potty Training: Day 1. Friday, January 29, 2010. Yesterday I started the Friday Family Potty Training Boot Camp. The plan was to start first thing in the morning but I woke up with the remains of what was likely a stomach bug so I didn't really get started until after nap time. Once she got up, I stripped her down and let her run around with just a shirt on. I set the kitchen timer every ten minutes and we'd go sit on the potty. She was being so stubborn. We're on to day 2 now.wish us luck! 04/03 - 04/10...

http://thegowings.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
The life and times of a little family learning to live and love in God's constant outpouring of grace. Sunday, August 4, 2013. Thoughts on a Sabbath. Lately I have been thinking a lot about God's timing. The "providential" plan and how it works together. It is easy for me to dwell on how good. If you are right there, let me offer you some encouragement. It gets better. What is happening right now is not IT. I heard a really great sermon today from a guest preacher at our church. He had some different...

The Gowings: Love 'em right.
http://thegowings.blogspot.com/2014/01/love-em-right.html
The life and times of a little family learning to live and love in God's constant outpouring of grace. Wednesday, January 22, 2014. This can be so hard! Don't misunderstand: I knew what we were getting into. When our big one was an angelic one year old and people would comment on her, I knew it wasn't forever; there were tougher times to come. I was right. (It must have been a Tuesday; I have often claimed to be pseudo-psychic on Tuesdays. Jk.). It is just blah! Who fails to do . In this era of such craz...

Walt, Laurie, Pratt and Newton). Friday, September 26, 2008. I love the cool in the air in the mornings and evenings. Of course, the afternoons still feel a little like summer. We are getting there, though. Here are a couple of picks from the week. Pratt is such a blast. 14 months and counting. Each day seems like a new adventure for him. I love it! He would not leave the hat on for his picture. I kept putting it back on him to take a pic and see his reaction below. Thursday, September 11, 2008.

The life and times of a little family learning to live and love in God's constant outpouring of grace. Monday, November 11, 2013. But that's a different matter all together. I am abundantly thankful today for the veterans that I know and love. And so many others. That put your safety and mine, and the welfare of our country above their own. For their families. For their wives. Bless them. For their mamas. Give them peace. For their kids. Give them strength. (. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Gowings: Merry Christmas & The End of Another Year
http://thegowings.blogspot.com/2013/12/merry-christmas-end-of-another-year.html
The life and times of a little family learning to live and love in God's constant outpouring of grace. Sunday, December 15, 2013. Merry Christmas and The End of Another Year. How is 2013 almost over? How is it December 15th already? Not like I-have-no-presents-bought so it snuck up on me, just how it is the end of another year? I am overwhelmed by the blessings around me. It seems as though I blinked and found that my children had grown. See what I mean? Three going on 13. Why do you read your Bible?

And that was just Brad. (haha). Is what makes it happy. What makes it t...
