Pewter Acorn Quilts: August 2014
http://thepewteracorn.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Well, I don't tons of fun quilty updates to share with you today. But I do have a photo from of this week's work in progress! Confession time: I've been sewing while on drugs. Fortunately mine would be of the lightweight prescription painkiller variety. In my defense, the RX says I shouldn't drive or operate heavy machinery, but it said nothing about operating a sewing machine! Enter, orange peels. I'm using the fusible interfacing technique from this tutorial. So, the bad new...

I've always loved to make things. Join me while I reboot my creativity, create a new quilting room and tackle LOTS of unfinished projects. Q1 Finish Along Progress. Q2 Finish Along Progress. Friday, May 1, 2015. We have had glorious weather all week long and I just can't feel bad for not being in the mood to sew. One good thing about not finishing anything is that is makes the monthly wrap up post a moot point! Isn't this journal cover gorgeous? Labels: A Lovely Year of Finishes. May 1, 2015 at 6:00 PM.

Scissors and Thread: A Christmas Quilt (in January)
http://scissorsandthread.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-christmas-quilt-in-january.html
Friday, 30 January 2015. A Christmas Quilt (in January). This is the first of my catch up projects from last year. Every December since I started quilting I would look at all the lovely Christmas quilts and wish I had the time to make one. So this year I started in July! I still didn't finish it until December but this year for the first time I snuggled up watching The Snowman (a lot - James became somewhat obsessed) under my very own Christmas quilt. Pattern: Made in Cherry. Finish it up Friday. Way to ...

Katie Mae Quilts: Some Little Finishes
http://katiemaequilts.blogspot.com/2014/08/some-little-finishes.html
Friday, August 22, 2014. I just spent a couple days in Seattle with the boys, celebrating my birthday, where I learned that the Dude is now dangerous in quilt stores. He no longer complains about being there. No, he's in the shelves, picking fabric, and confidently ordering a quarter yard and three quarter yard. I also made a stack of burp clothes for my sister - Army ones for her husband. And UConn ones for her! Before putting the rest in the green bin. Whoop Whoop @ Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

Mrs Sew and Sew's Quilting Blog: January 2012
http://sewandsewsquilts.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Mrs Sew and Sew's Quilting Blog. Friday, January 27, 2012. A slow month for sewing. This hasn't been the greatest month for me and it's taken a toll on my sewing. I've been sewing less than usual, and with lots of mistakes! I decided I should have a stack of squares or a very easy project cut and ready to go. Then when I need some quilting 'therapy' I could just escape to my sewing room and sew and sew with very little decision making necessary. First UFO crossed off my list! Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

Life In The Dog House. January 20, 2016 · 16:32. I have managed to keep up with the 365 quilt challenge. I’ve got my first 21 blocks of the year done:. My Quilts of Valour WIP is on the longarm getting ditched while I decide how I want to quilt it. And finally, I have all the blocks pieced on my baby quilt so I am in the process of sewing the blocks together. I haven’t decided if I am going to add any borders. A patchwork and quilting blog with occasional posts about other crafts and musings in general. Sunday, 10 May 2015. I'm giving my sewing machine a rest after a busy week and getting on with my new project, a Wildflower Cardigan. The pattern. Is by my favourite designer at the moment, Alana Dakos. You may remember that I made the child sized version, the Wee Wildflower. For Vivi last September. The link is to my photos and projects page on Ravelry. So, how is it knitting up?
