It's tough being transgender. Monday, December 27, 2010. I started this blog at a very turbulent time, when I needed an outlet to share my feelings outside my normal support channels. I'm happy to write I haven't really needed that lately, which is why it's been a while since I posted. My wife has been wonderful about this. She's been supportive of me, even when she feared this would tear us apart. I'll update again soon, but just wanted to post I'm doing well and very happy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

It's tough being transgender. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. I feel like I'm turning a new corner in this adventure. I'm no longer super nervous about dressing in general. My wife started seeing a therapist about this, and I'll start soon too (as soon as I get the time/courage). I'm confident enough that I can shop and try on things by myself. It's tough being transgender. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I've only recently admitted my gender issues to myself and others. I've always felt out of place and had lots of feminine tendencies. But, I wanted to fit in and hid them as best I could. Someone close to me, that I'd confided in, told me chilling stories about my mom. I had known these things, but had subsequently forgotten.
