Sunday, September 29, 2013. Every year we go to a Western Days event at an old little western town nearby. This year Marlee got into the spirit of things and wore an old pair of Lane's boots. She was too cute! We went out and had lunch, walked around a little and found a place in the shade to wait for the rodeo to begin. Marlee and Elizabeth decided it was nap time. We spent most of the rodeo under the bleachers in the shade. Lane loved watching the cowboys and cowgirls. He fit right in! Walk A Thon 2013.

Sunday, January 5, 2014. We went ice skating for the first time with the kids last night. We bundled little E up like an Eskimo! Lane and Marlee were super excited. We told them we were going the night before we went. All day Friday Marlee kept asking me if it was time to go ice skating yet. Lane got his skates on! Grampy got his on! And Marlee got hers on! Grammy took a group picture of us before we headed out. We all had so much fun! Lane wanted to skate on his own! I was so proud to skate next to him.

Saturday, February 1, 2014. It has been a cold month! We've had lots of fun playing inside and outside! The bigs love their little sister! Lane was invited to a swimming birthday party and got to bring his sisters. It started snowing as we walked into the party. Swimming in a warm pool was a great way to spend a cold afternoon! Lane was out of school for some snow days. A favorite snow day activity? Eating snow of course! Pallets are always fun to hang out on. We went to some High School Basketball games.

Wednesday, December 5, 2012. We brought Miss E home Monday. Lane got to miss the first hour or two of school to help us bring her home. He helped get her buckled into her car seat. She was all set and ready to go. The woman who wheeled me out came in with an extra wide wheelchair. Lane and Marlee thought it was for them! Wednesday, March 27, 2013. We just got home from Lane's first assembly at school! He did so good, and I am so proud of him! It seems he is his Dad through and through. Each class of Pre-K had four kids chosen to have a little speaking part at the all school assembly. He was one of the four from his class. I am so glad he had the opportunity to speak. Saturday, July 27, 2013. Family Room Camp Out. This little girl has big news! She loves to pull up on the ottoman! And she got to have a camp out in the family room, for a little bit, with the big kids! Lane and Marlee helped Dad set up the tent, and could not wait to check it out. They let me in the tent for a minute to take a quick picture. And then they got down to business with Dad. They set up the air mattress while I made the popcorn. They watched a movie and slept all night down in the tent.

Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Lane and Marlee were gated off at the end of the hallway to wait for everyone to get to our house Christmas morning. It was a long wait for them! Checking out Santa gifts. We take a long time to open gifts! We all go one at a time in a circle. The kids get to play with their new things or help open gifts as they wait their turn to go again. Sunday, December 29, 2013. We spent the day in Tulsa for Grammy's birthday. We did some shopping and went to Sarah and Tyler's for appetizers and then went out for dinner. I love this picture! Thursday, January 30, 2014. Clint is dangerously close to a milestone birthday next year! We celebrated this one with a cookie cake and dinner out. You know, like any elementary aged kid would love! We had a great time celebrating Clint with our family! Dad and two of his cuties. G and G, aren't they cute! Aunt Sarah and Unc Tyler, and some goofball. Lane ate his desert with his napkin as a hat. Proof he did eat his dinner like a big boy! Elizabeth cozied up to Grammy for some ice cream.
