Weird - Life, pits and all. 22 August 2009 @ 10:22 pm. Between being homeless for a week. And not having any furniture here yet. Something occurred to me today (as i was unpacking my dishes and putting them away in the kitchen). I still *feel* homeless. Like, my apartment feels like just another place i am staying temporarily until i get "home". Except.that's not quite accurate either. Because while i stayed in each of those other places. There wasn't any "home" i was looking ahead to being in.

Who remembers me not being able to take them home with me? Who remembers volunteering to stop by the House and take them home to eat over the summer? Drafts - Life, pits and all. 16 March 2010 @ 10:19 pm. I do not understand how authors (or people in general) who write drafts can ever get anything done. Any time I let myself re-write anything, I just get caught in an endless loop, writing the same thing over and over again - not even just editing, but starting over entirely, as though convinced that if I start over just one more time I can write it not just better, but right. I have written the first chapter five times so far.
