At the crack of dawn we left Charleston on what seemed a very short drive (2 1/2 hours) and arrived in time for lunch at Jekyll Island Club after we checked into our hotel. Since it was still too hot blazing hot for the kids we let them spend some time at the Turtle Rescue Center and then to drive the perimeter of the island to get our bearings. The rolling action of a toy sends her into a fit of giggles. Tuesday, August 21, 2007. Fun in the Sun Part Deux. It's so amusing to watch her play.She gets so excited even with just the ordinary hose. I place it nearby and turn it on to a light shower and she just goes to town. I guess when Isa resents me later for baptizing her into the Catholic Church without her consent, I can tell her all of the trouble we went through. Luckily everything fell into place the day of and Isa became a child of God on July 28th 2007. Everybody was able to make it and witness her baptism. All the guys sportin' the barong.

Sunday, May 5, 2013. My daughter's 2nd birthday! It is so hard to believe that my daughter is 2 years old already, it feels like just yesterday when I was bringing her home as a new mommy. Life has been crazy wonderful. That's right, it's a Krispy Kreme Tower. I'll tell you what, easy to assemble, easy to "cut", and easy clean up, it was a perfect faux cake! And she absolutely love it!
