To know the unknowable…. November 24, 2011 · 8:08 am. A Thanksgiving Prayer Letter to Family and Friends. And anyone else who wants to read it). Inspired by Ephesians 3:14-19]. For this reason… [v14a]. Before Paul ‘saw the Light’, he certainly knew a lot about God – more, in fact, than most if not all of us know now. He was a very, very religious person – following the law to the very best of his ability. Does that describe us? 8230;I bow my knees before the Father,…[v14b]. Is it visible in MY life today?

Random thoughts of an everyday Christian woman. Sunday, 5 February 2012. When I was a child…. Time moved very slowly. And there were no pains in my body. My heart was undamaged. I trusted the world. Each new thing discovered. My mind was free. My spirit could fly. My dance was hope. And my song was joy. As years passed by. The world pushed in. Trying to steal my joy. Tried to drown me. Rose up to engulf me. Though the world has tempted. Bullied and scared me. Though I walk with a limp. Hand on heart .

Muse and Whether: Heartbreak
http://museandwhether.blogspot.com/2013/11/heartbreak.html
Random thoughts of an everyday Christian woman. Saturday, 30 November 2013. As we approach the 1st of December and all that advent brings, how good it is to see the community spirit of kindness, care and help as has been displayed over the last 24 hours in Glasgow following the tragic helicopter accident last night. The latest I have heard about is a taxi company offering to help those who can't afford to visit their loved ones in hospital. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a mother, grandmother, ...

Random thoughts of an everyday Christian woman. Saturday, 22 November 2008. Links to this post. Saturday, 1 November 2008. It's been a while since I posted anything. Truth is that I'm currently trying to keep lots of plates spinning and this has made me tired and grumpy. Some of this is justified - namely the poor service that I have received from a couple of suppliers - gas and telephone. Shall I name them? Shall I tell the reasons? Maybe not - to go over it all again will only make me even more grumpy.

Muse and Whether: June 2012
http://museandwhether.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Random thoughts of an everyday Christian woman. Wednesday, 13 June 2012. I read recently about two UK Christian women who have been barred from wearing a cross whilst at work. They are taking this to the European Court of Human Rights. The UK government intends to oppose their case, arguing that wearing a cross is not a 'requirement' of the Christian faith and, therefore, employers can ban employees from doing so, and can dismiss them if they insist. What possible harm can it do anyone? Links to this post.

Random thoughts of an everyday Christian woman. Monday, 6 July 2009. Is there anyone out there? So very long since I last posted anything that I will be very surprised if anyone is actually still reading this Blog! Those who have attended Reunions before tell me that, after the first few moments, everyone is totally recognisable and the years simply melt away. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Random thoughts of an everyday Christian woman. Wednesday, 30 May 2012. There are three fantastic things about going through a difficult time! It alters your relationship with God. You discover who’s really in it with you. Unfortunately, these things are only fully appreciated once you have come out at the other end! And the end is truly something to savour. Whilst you were in the midst of the difficulties you had not even realised how tense your body was. Of course, this spell is fairly short-lived!
