The name comes from the Latin venor. Which means to hunt (thanks, Wikipedia! 1 lb ground venison. 1 lb ground pork. 2 slices bacon, cut in half lengthwise and then finely diced. 1 tbs Worcestershire ( 5 splashes worth).
