Anybody else think there should be an RDA for humor? This blog is where I talk about writing, faith, mothering, and anything else that strikes my fancy. Most of it is my attempt to find humor in life, because if we can’t laugh about stuff that goes on around us, what’s the point? I’m a writer. My 300 Pound Life. One Hundred. Pounds. Y’all, I have lost 100 pounds! You know what else weighs 100 pounds? 12 gallons of water (try carrying that in from the car in one trip! A Hellfire missile (the kind that blow up tanks). A full grown Newfoundland (awwww! A two month old horse. I lost a horse, guys. O O. I’m 18 pounds from my initial goal weight. My 300 Pound Life. Remember my last post. About the myriad of changes I need to accomplish in order to successfully lose weight with bariatric surgery? I decided to take things one step at a time, showing myself plenty of grace and realizing that Rome wasn’t built in a day (so to speak.) So, I’m still drinking coffee like a maniac, my carb count at meals is above the goal range, I still scarf my food, and I’m nowhere near 80oz of water a day (although that is improving.). Since I last consumed any sugar!
