Charlotte's Blog: November 2009
http://ourlittlecharlotte.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. Frying Pan Farm Park. We were lucky that Steve didn't have to work this weekend and we were able to plan a family outing. We were also extremely lucky that the weather was so nice this late in November! There are so many fun places to explore around our area, and today we decided to go to Frying Pan Farm Park. Some of Charlotte's little friends had been here before and we'd heard good things about it. They just kept coming! Charlotte hanging on the fence watching the horses.

Charlotte's Blog: February 2010
http://ourlittlecharlotte.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 17, 2010. After leaving High Point we headed for Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels were scheduled to play NC State in basketball at 4:00pm and we were going to attempt to take Charlotte to her first Carolina game at The Dean Dome. She had been to a game in Atlanta at the ACC Tournament, but never to one in Chapel Hill! We grabbed a quick lunch back on Franklin Street and decided to head over to the hotel to try and get Charlotte a nap before the game. We grabbed a quick breakfast at the hote...

Thursday, May 20, 2010. Last year it was a Hawaiian Luau, this year it was a Barnyard Bash! After discovering Etsy and all the amazing stuff that people can create, I was able to get some really cute invitations and decorations. A little online searching and I came up with some cute cupcake and cake ideas too! Some pictures of the decorations and sweet treats -. The birthday girl -. Having fun with the guests! We were all exhausted after the big event, and thankfully Charlotte took a nice long nap! Espec...

Monday, May 16, 2011. I love that Charlotte is in school and so we get to participate in all of these fun events! The Christmas party at her school consisted of the kiddos singing a cute song, decorating (and of course eating) cookies, and giving the parents their special handprint ornaments. As you can see, Charlotte had a great time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Born: Tuesday May 13, 2008. Weight: 6 lbs 1 oz. Height: 19.25 inches. Moving to a new blog. Christmas on the Farm. 2 Years, 7 Months.

Charlotte's Blog: October 2010
http://ourlittlecharlotte.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 24, 2010. In late September, we had an awesome opportunity to do a professional photography mini session with a friend of mine from MOPS who is also an amazing photographer - Stephanie Ascari of Cleverly Candid Photography (http:/ www.cleverlycandid.com). I was so excited to get to do this, as we've never had a professional family photo taken. I loved all of them, but here are my favorites (just a few of the 94). I think the ladybug cars were the most popular with the kiddos! This one....

Saturday, December 26, 2009. Christmas with KiKat and G. Our good friends Kathleen and Graig came over this afternoon to celebrate Christmas with us and to have dinner. Charlotte was napping when they arrived, but when she woke up she was excited to show off her new toys (after her usual 20 minute post-nap "reboot" period.it takes her a while to really wake-up and be ready to join in the fun). Reading a book with Aunt Kat. The band's all here! So happy playing her drum. Having fun with KiKat. This says i...

Charlotte's Blog: August 2010
http://ourlittlecharlotte.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Instead of spending another overcast day indoors, I decided to venture out west to the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum in Winchester. My Mom (aka Nana) came along with us. The drive took a little over an hour, and Charlotte was definitely ready to get out by the time we arrived! Charlotte managed to stay awake for the drive home, with a little help from Dora the Explorer, and is now taking a hopefully long nap! Checking out the safety of the wheelchair. Weight: 6 lbs 1 oz.

Charlotte's Blog: Christmas on the Farm
http://ourlittlecharlotte.blogspot.com/2011/05/christmas-on-farm.html
Monday, May 16, 2011. Christmas on the Farm. On a very cold day in December we ventured to Frying Pan Farm for a special event called Christmas on the Farm. We were able to take a hayride around the farm, driven by Santa himself! There were also activities for the kids to participate in - writing letters to Santa, decorating cookies, coloring cards and a puppet show. Charlotte was able to relay her request for a big girl dollhouse to Santa, who asked, "one story or two." She didn't quite get it :).

Tuesday, December 7, 2010. The weekend after Thanksgiving, we decided to get ourselves in gear and get the Christmas decorations out. We have pre-lit artificial tree, so all we (aka Steve) have to do is bring it up from the basement, click it together and plug it in. Brilliant! I dressed Charlotte up for the occasion and she was super excited to get started! Posing with the tree pre-ornaments. And now, with ornaments! Monday, December 6, 2010. Trip to Chapel Hill. It was originally going to be a big fami...

Charlotte's Blog: September 2010

Sunday, September 19, 2010. First Day of School. She's only 2 years old, but Charlotte is already headed to school! Well, it's a Mother's Day Out program at a local church, but still, we call it school. She'll be going 2 days a week for a few hours and even eats lunch at school. This meant of course that we had to buy a cute backpack and coordinating lunch box for her. Charlotte was very excited for her first day of school! Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Sitting on the steps with Ki-Kat. As we were eating b...
