I've been working at Youth With A Mission in San Francisco since June of 2006! I am seeing God move in this city, in people's lives, in my own life. I am involved in the fight against human trafficking. I do apologize for my terrible lack of updates. I have been back in San Francisco (after two amazing months in Asia) for almost two months now! Another goal is for the future.to someday be able to offer a piece of the restoration process for women that have escaped a situation of being trafficked. My thou...

I am involved in the fight against human trafficking. So this week has just been a whirl. I'm not even sure why! Our teaching this week for the DTS students was on "The Bible".on Thursday, I taught a specific Bible study method, which was really cool.we studied the book of Jonah together, and got so much out of it! God has been challenging me to trust Him wi...

I've been working at Youth With A Mission in San Francisco since June of 2006! I am seeing God move in this city, in people's lives, in my own life. I am involved in the fight against human trafficking. 10 days and counting. Until Jason comes home! I'm ready for a few months in the fall to be able to visit family and friends and reconnect with life outside of SF. In a week I will fly to Southern California to visit my family, and especially the brand new member of my family, my nephew, Samuel Chase Miller.

Moments of a lifetime: October 2007
http://theskyandtheocean.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Moments of a lifetime. Inspired to breathe again. Sunday, 14 October 2007. Someone, somewhere else, is smiling, moving, weeping. I can't believe there is a "this very moment" anywhere but in this very moment. Wednesday, 3 October 2007. Depressing choice of heading? I know no other purpose to life, be it in the giving, or the recieving of love, no greater power on this earth. But where is it? I can't see it anywhere around me. Why? What is wrong with this world? I've been working at Youth With A Mission in San Francisco since June of 2006! I am seeing God move in this city, in people's lives, in my own life. I am involved in the fight against human trafficking. It's been easy to let myself slip into numbness since I moved here to San Francisco. There is so much going on around me that is a possibility either for great joy or great pain. Posted by Amy Justine. SoI know. It's been forever. Where to begin? Outreach was awesome. Morocco! We also went to the city of ...

Moments of a lifetime: April 2007
http://theskyandtheocean.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Moments of a lifetime. Inspired to breathe again. Tuesday, 10 April 2007. Allow me to be random. I have been sitting here with a big cup of tea and a pensive mind. Pursuing deep and heavy trains of thought. Damien Rice doesn't help. The cows on my mug are in love. In a context of finality, is the saddest word I have ever heard. I think we as humans are stronger. Than we give ourselves credit for. We keep on surviving, through everything, though it feels. Do you come together ever with him? To take you on?

Moments of a lifetime: January 2011
http://theskyandtheocean.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Moments of a lifetime. Inspired to breathe again. Wednesday, 12 January 2011. When life seems slow and hopeless. I have discovered a dream. Well, when I say discovered, I don't really mean that. I mean I have finally given something room to breathe. The seed of a dream that has always been inside of me - squashed, ignored, sometimes forgotten, but always present. It is breathing now. Alive But at what cost? To give life to such a thing opens one up. To the beauty and perfect happiness of attainment.

Moments of a lifetime: June 2007
http://theskyandtheocean.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Moments of a lifetime. Inspired to breathe again. Sunday, 17 June 2007. I want to go everywhere. I want to see everything. I want to gaze upon the unseen places of this world and linger on distant foreign shores. I want to learn to see true beauty with untainted eyes. I want to be touched by the rain and moved by the sun. I want to love limitlessly. I want to live. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lifetimes of a moment. It can be beautiful.

I've been working at Youth With A Mission in San Francisco since June of 2006! I am seeing God move in this city, in people's lives, in my own life. I am involved in the fight against human trafficking. When I cross over. I will shout and sing. I will know my savior. By the mark where the nails have been. By the mark where the nails have been. By the sign upon his precious skin. I will know my savior when I come to him. By the mark where the nails have been. A man of riches. May claim a crown of jewels.
