A year in The Gulf - shared a little at a time. Now that I have been back in Bahrain for a little over a week, I think I may be over my jetlag. As I mentioned last time I did back-to-back trips for conferences – with a 24-hour “layover” in Bahrain between them. The first took me to Tampa for a three-day meeting; the second was for a 4-hour (yes, I said “hour”) conference in Germany. Coming soon – local concerts. Until next time – Kaiserslautern! Although most bars around here have live bands, usually imported from the Philippines, it is always refreshing to have new acts come through the Kingdom of Bahrain and provide some quality entertainment.
