In recent years, we have added to our number and we now have Auntie Dawn and Uncle Greg, Stewart and Tobi and their family, and Erin and Owen and their family. It makes for a wonderful time together. Here Magda is picking Anna up in her inner tube, much to Anna's delight. Lounging by the pool is definitely a treat! Sophie, Sarah, and Ethan enjoyed themselves too!

Sunday, November 23, 2014. This weekend Sarah and I took advantage of our warmer weather and headed outside to put the garden to rest for the season and decorate for Christmas. It was great to be able to decorate without the cold and snow. I know in the past I have been outside in much colder temperatures, so this was lovely! We like to get started early as there is much to do inside and out at Christmas (and we love this! Let me take this opportunity to invite you to our Annual Christmas Open House.

Monday, July 28, 2014. One of the "must do" things on my list for summer was visiting Lac le Jeune. I love how close the lake is and the call of the loons beckons me to come. Sarah looking very relaxed. Sophie - bundled in a towel after braving the water. Children Buckets Sand Water = Fun. Due to the higher elevation, the area is much cooler than Kamloops, making it a great place to visit on our hot days. Eagle Bay Camp - Part One. Love the fun they are having! I love Ethan's smile! Sunday, September 21, 2014. A Weekend of Painting. While in school, I needed to resist my urge to paint as I simply did not have the time. In April of this year, while waiting for feedback on my work, I painted our living room and I had such fun! The clerk at the store told me I would not have been able to buy one can for $44, saying that they sold for between $50 and $66 a can. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Friday was Sophie's first day off from school, so Sarah arranged to have her over for a special day full of fun things to do together. These lovely young ladies have just completed grade 5 and grade 11. After a brief visit inside, the two left the house, taking the city bus to a few "secret" locations, including the movie theatre.
