A labour of love. The five year restoration of the Dovecote was completed in September 2001 and today is rated one of the most romantic places to stay in Britain ( The Observer, June 2003. The Dovecote is no longer home to over a thousand pigeons, but now offers a perfect hideaway in the depths of the Oxfordshire countryside, yet within an hour and half's easy driving of London, Southampton, Bristol and Birmingham.
