Well, the week prior to Baby Kyle being delivered was a little frustrating due to 3 cancelled inductions and various other set-backs, he certainly made his debut in dramatic fashion! In the early afternoon of July 31st, I had an emergency c-section due to a prolapsed, umbilical cord (basically, the umbilical cord wanted to come out before Baby Kyle). The surgery was super fast and went really well and when it was over. We are so in love! We are so blessed! Waiting for Baby Kyle.

Tuesday, April 22, 2014. This past weekend, we celebrated Easter! Kent's wonderful parents were in town, so we went to church together to celebrate that Jesus Christ is Risen! What a blessing and joyous occasion! Also, it was Jackson's 1st Easter! So, he opened his Easter basket and "hunted" for a few eggs! Then, after church, we enjoyed a delicious lunch with family! Monday, June 30, 2014. Cooper's 5th Birthday Party! This past Saturday, Kent, Jackson, and I went to cousin, Cooper's 5th Birthday Party! It was a cammo/"water war" theme and Kelly had everything decorated perfectly…she is such an amazing party planner! The food was delicious and there was so much for the kiddos to do outside…slip 'n slide, swim, throw water balloons, target practice, etc! Thanks guys for the invitation…we had a BLAST! Monday, April 13, 2015. This past Saturday, we went to the Montgomery County Fair! While Kent was judging some events, we had a blast seeing all of the animals, tractors, and walking through the carnival! Jackson and the "tractors"/lawn mowers! We even saw a pig race! Can't wait to go back next year! Such a fun event! Fun with Nana and Ome'! After our Easter weekend in Abilene, my Mom offered to watch Jackson for me, for the following two days, so that I could get a bunch of things done down at our house!

Saturday, December 20, 2014. New decorations for the tree and front doors this year thanks to the Nutcracker Market! Meghan's 6th grade choir sang a beautiful Christmas program! JSL presented our local police department with a check for $2,000 for their Blue Santa program. We raised the money at our Teddy Bear Tea in November. We went to look at Christmas Lights with Lauren and Landrie! Scott finally got his big buck! I took a suburban full of girlies to see The Gronch. Kate with her paintbrush ornament.

Friday, May 22, 2015. Crawfish, Concerts and Mother's Day! In between soccer and dance, we have managed to fit in some fun entertainment on the weekends! The girls have both learned to love crawfish! We are enjoying the city summer concert series, especially when our friend Cole Degges performs! Our Junior Service League put on the. Charlie Robison was the entertainment and he was fabulous! They had a great run and brought home enough for a lunch-time crab boil. We spent the evening celebrating our friend Jeannette's birthday in Galveston. We had an awesome dinner at Rudy and Paco's. This was our first time to eat there and we will definitely be going back! The girls put on their 4th attire and we went to the Vardeman's for swimming and fireworks!

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Wedding Weekend in Vail. Scott and I kicked off the summer travel season with a trip to Vail, Colorado for his boss's wedding. Kelly and Chad agreed to keep the girls for us and even drove all the way to Lake Jackson to pick them up!
