Ger is a small village in the centre of Basse Normandie (Lower Normandy). It is situated in scenic countryside with many areas suitable for walking, cycling, riding, fishing or just strolling and taking in the views. We are within easy reach of good beaches (about an hour away), many historical sites and local attractions. The village has a small supermarket, pharmacy, bakers and two restaurants one of which is attached to an English pub, The Jug and Jazz (www.jugandjazz.fr).

By car we are about 1 hour 20 minutes from the ferry port at Ouistreham (Caen). From Cherbourg we are about 1 hour 30 minutes. And from St Malo about 1 hour 30 minutes. Our nearest airports are Rennes, Caen and Dinard.
