Read all about my expat adventures! Monday, November 28, 2011. A tale of two Thanksgivings. My oven needs a rest! Though now that I'm officially in the holiday spirit it's hard to turn that kind of magic off. I've been cooking up a storm though for double Thanksgiving- one for 200 service members at work and one for just the hubs and me. First of 10 turkeys to meet the fryer. My very first turkey. Pumpkin pie for the troops. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Gobble gobble, indeed.

The usual day is just: work, school, gym, school, sleep: Repeat. Read all about my expat adventures! Saturday, August 27, 2011. Fire in the Hole! That's my nemesis over there. When our landlord turned over the keys last year it was in the study and Claire said, "there's a safe that you can use if you want to maybe keep your passports in it or something". Ooooh, we thought.great idea! Turns out no one knows the combo to the safe. Not such a great idea. One day I made Brandon hold it really tight and jump up and down to see if it sounded like there was anything inside.
