http://standingoutinthecold.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Standing Out in the Cold. Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Congressmen as Presidential Candidates. Get off my back, I'm busy these days. In the history of the U.S. 15 senators have become president. Here are some interesting facts:. 4 presidents held only the office of representative. 6 presidents held none of these offices. The office of senator.

Standing Out in the Cold: Lots of Money
http://standingoutinthecold.blogspot.com/2007/04/lots-of-money.html
Standing Out in the Cold. Monday, April 02, 2007. Whoa, am I posting again? I just have a quick question: what would happen if a presidential candidate donated their tens of millions of dollars. To feeding hungry children, or curing AIDS, or developing alternative fuel sources even, rather than spending it on campainging? Or would it just spell the end of their hopes in this whoever-spends-the-most-money-wins political system we have today? I'm pretty sure it would constitute fraud. Variations of a Theme.

Beyond the Wardrobe: March 2006
http://beyond-the-wardrobe.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 29, 2006. An oldie from my journal . . . I wrote the following in my journal on December 20, 2003, but I read it this morning and wanted to share it. Here ya go:. We humans make lots of excuses for our behavior or for our petty failures (read SIN. Oh do we know! Yet we are so fearful of giving voice to it, aren’t we? We are so afraid to admit the one thing that is genuinely important. What is that thing? It is the smile of acceptance, that is what we all long for in our deepest hearts.

I don’t know.but I’d like to. I just can’t get used to the hole in their picture". I have most of my "moments" while listening to D...

Thoughts that run through my head. Friday, March 10, 2006. Yesterday as I was driving up to Dallas to spend the weekend at my parent's I was daydreaming about possible blogging material. I kept thinking about my brother Josh and wishing that I had a particular story to tell about him just so I could introduce him to all of you. 2 Shaving in the shower: This is obviously geared toward men, but he swears that shaving in the shower has changed his life and he is on a mission to convince all men to do the sa...
