I welcomed my 29th year in with all my friends at Big Al's, a huge bowling and arcade venue with a huge sports bar and event space.this place is BIG! Monday, May 25, 2009. Keeping up with the Kanes. I can NOT believe how long it's been since I last updated? I was thinking, man it's been a while, and noticing 4-1 was last entry? Wowzai'm falling behind.or I'm just getting busier - yah -totally busier. Since spring sprung, it's been 24/7, which is great. Celebrated Dad's 70th birthday (and Mother's Day and Mike's birthday) at the View Point Inn in Corbett! It's an old building, in the National Historic Register, that is currently a small inn and restaurant. We had a delicious brunch there. Extremely well fed. The grounds are beautiful, and we were blessed with gorgeous weather! View of the Gorge.

I love Halloween so I made a Halloween wreath! I was going to add some fake webs and spiders to it, but I think I'll leave it as is for now. My life and stuff. Monday, August 24, 2009. After last night's dinner creation, I thought I'd try actual potato latkes. They weren't bad for the first time, but I think they needed more salt and onions. I used potatoes from Dawn and Mike's garden, onions from the farmer's market and Mom's homemade applesauce for dipping.(as well as sour cream from the store.) My life and stuff. Monday, November 24, 2008. I am horribly behind, so here are several posts from the past month or so. Went to the Coast a few weekends back with Lisa, Katie and Cheryl and stayed at Cheryl's beach house. It was such a nice break! All of us needed some time away from our normal lives. We did a lot of: catching up, eating, drinking, laughing, crying. It was perfect Girl Time. I love these boys! They are so cute. We met Lynda and her friend there. I love this holiday and time of year!
