Friday, August 14, 2015. We haven’t done swimming lessons for about 2 years. We had a two-week break between vacations and other things, so I signed the kids up. It was so fun! The kids loved it and it was a great way to start our morning (9am session). We had kids in level 1, 2, 3, and 4. Wyatt was our level 3. Halle was level 1. She was so excited every morning, she was literally jumping around in circles until she hopped in the pool. She and Thea are in the rainbow swimsuits. Thursday, August 13, 2015.

Thursday, August 13, 2015. It, holding onto the iron rod, to get to the tree. We talked about what. Then the fun part! We blindfolded the kids and put one hand on the start of the twine. Halle may have peeked. 8220;We had to have a blindfold on us and then we had to follow the string to the end. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Halle, the Artist. For the last few months, Halle constantly has a paper and pencil in her hand. If she has a spare minute, she is sitting at the table, drawing. These pictures were taken over several months. Even at bedtime, she always has a paper and pencil to draw with. It just seems to be relaxing and enjoyable to her. I love that that’s her thing. She draws page after page after page. Then folds them in half, hands them to us, and says, “Open this momma! C is for Colors.

It was heading to 100° again, so we stopped here on the way home to cool off! The kids love it here. We planned to stay an hour and we were there for two. One little boy had a little yellow ball that he would put on the hole where the water was coming out. When the water squirted higher, the ball stayed on and was lifted up. I was grateful that we had a big thunderstorm roll through and gift us with these puddles, because I didn’t know how else to occupy them for two 40 minute halves. Way to go #8!
