Le Maison De Noel. This historical chateau is one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture there is in Burgundy today. Built during the 16th and 17th century it was originally the family domain of one of the most famous and prestigious Protestant families in France. The ancient Fontenay Abbey (12th century) is one of the first French monuments being recognised as part of the World Heritage by UNESCO. It has been perfectly conserved retaining almost all of it's original Romanesque style.
