Dhammonia: What after Mission Boston?
http://dhammo.blogspot.com/2014/06/what-after-mission-boston.html
Sunday, June 01, 2014. What after Mission Boston? When I started training after SCMM 2011, for my first attempt at qualifying for the Boston Marathon, my best marathon was in 4:00:18 at the New Jersey Marathon in 2007. Since then I have run 7 marathons (one was at SCMM 2012, trying pace Bhasker to a 3:45 finish failing comically) - 6 of them in the pursuit. Also, I have come to realize, esp after the first BQ I managed, in my. By 5:59 min. Suddenly I needed to run a 3:05 to qualify in 2013, since I h...

http://dhammo.blogspot.com/2015/05/update-on-cnf-fund-raising.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. Update on CNF fund raising. I am quite happy to share with you that my campaign to raise funds for CNF. Yielded about $1500. While this is 25% of what the entire program needs, this is still big enough to make a dent, to paraphrase Steve Jobs. Thanks to everyone who supported the effort. It really brightens up a lot of lives including mine. Good blog with useful information. Checkout this. Six Sigma Training. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Landmark Quiz 2005, Madras. Dhammonia: Coaching for running events in Jun-Sep 2015
http://dhammo.blogspot.com/2015/05/coaching-for-running-events-in-jun-sep.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Coaching for running events in Jun-Sep 2015. Some of you may remember my excited announcement in Mar about my partnering with Athreya to coach runners from mid-May. Well the time has come. We think the session will last about 1 hr. We will each spend 15 min or so discussing by turns - my Boston 2 Big Sur Challenge and his sub-4 finish at the Bangalore Ultra and then start the 30 min Q&A. Although this isn't a closed session, we'd prefer if you mailed runningcoach@outlook.com.

Dhammonia: 3 years
http://dhammo.blogspot.com/2014/09/3-years.html
Monday, September 15, 2014. I delayed this post by a few days since I was waiting for an email from the BAA. That arrived this morning. My entry to the 2015 edition of the Boston Marathon has been confirmed. That adds another line to the story of my life since Sep 2011, while ticking off the one item that spurred me to quit my job, 3 years ago. My running is quite fine, although I wish I were lighter but if you ate 4 kadubus before breakfast, you can hardly expect your weight to watch itself! Reading rec...

Dhammonia: Yet Another Tag
http://dhammo.blogspot.com/2006/06/yet-another-tag.html
Monday, June 05, 2006. This time, Sabnis has done this. Here are my responses. I am thinking about – the answers to the next few. I said – a few things I wish I hadn’t. I want to – run a marathon under 3 hours. I wish – Bangalore had been a young lady in love with me. I miss - Bangalore. I hear – voices! I wonder – what I would do without my friends. I regret – a few things that I will obviously not write on my blog about! I am – that! I dance – better when I am sober! I sing – when I feel like! Okay, on...

Dhammonia: Not a walk in the park
http://dhammo.blogspot.com/2013/03/not-walk-in-park.html
Monday, March 18, 2013. Not a walk in the park. In 11 years of running, this is the first time someone (and that too a complete stranger) has commented on my running attire and that too, a guy! It irritated me so much that I ended up running the rest of my run much faster than needed and this "Anand" continued to walk in the same park and I saw him a few more times and he kept to himself. Sad state of affairs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Landmark Quiz 2005, Madras. What after Mission Boston?
