Notes from the Neeley's: My Momma's Cinnamon Rolls
http://neeleynotebook.blogspot.com/2014/10/my-mommas-cinnamon-rolls.html
Notes from the Neeley's. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. My Momma's Cinnamon Rolls. I'm still working at getting making my rolls as good as my momma's, but every year I'm getting closer. One concession I've made to my already inferior product is I use my mixer. It's too beautiful not to. Disclaimer - I am not a food blogger nor am I attempting to be one. But these cinnamon rolls just beg to be shared. Live and learn. I used coconut milk instead of regular milk. Works great. Slice them up. I use dental f...

http://neeleynotebook.blogspot.com/2015/01/welcome-to-new-york.html
Notes from the Neeley's. Friday, January 9, 2015. Welcome to New York. It was an amazing great trip! We were a little nervous - I won't lie. Amy was in Mexico City our first day and a half, so we didn't have a built in tour guide (yikes! The next day was tourist day. Then we went to the Staten Island Ferry to float past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We chose this over Statue Cruises for the sake of time, convenience and cost. Fast, free and super easy was a good decision. Our last day we did br...

Friday, July 3, 2009. Blake's first (theater) movie! Tonight was a BIG first. For our little man. Tony's mom (affectionately called "Gangy") and I took Blake to the movie theater for the first time. I honestly did not think he would get through the whole thing, so we started with the dollar theater ($1.75, actually). We saw Monsters Vs. Aliens. He of course talked throughout the whole thing. The kid does not understand how to use his "quiet voice,". Here are some of the best moments:. Egan is finally tak...

Friday, April 10, 2009. His name is "Daddy". Blake is going through this stage where he insists upon calling his daddy by his first name. He will just walk up and say "Tony." Yesterday he told me, "Tony in the red car," and later pointed out a picture of "Mommy and Tony." Just today, Blake and Tony were having a discussion that sounded like this. Tony: "No, I'm Daddy". Tony: "No. Daddy.". Blake: "You name, Tony". Here is a picture of Blake after eating some candy he found at my parents. His name is Daddy.
