まー、相変わらず只の轟音ギター・ロックとは一線を画している印象。 M4「Competition」の躍動感溢れるダイナミシズムはそれこそ格別。 Where In Our Woods. 今年リリース作品、という意味では最初の紹介となるのはElephant MicahことJoseph O’Connell君のニュー・アルバム。 今作で初めてその存在を知りましたが、既に十数年のキャリアを誇り、自主制作で様々なフォーマットの作品を数多くリリースしてきたのだとか。 今作でもBonnie 'Prince' BillyことWill Oldham翁が客演しているようですし、過去には故Jason MolinaのMagnolia Electric Co.と競演した事もあるそうで、彼等やRed House Painters～Mark Kozelekなんかの系譜に連なる音だと言えると思います。 完全新曲のみのアルバムという意味では実に23年振りというThe Primitivesのニュー・アルバム。 スウェーデン出身のAdna Kadicのソロ・プロジェクトのデビュー作品。
