Edinburgh Pub Reviews: The Rainbow (Drumbrae/Corstorphine - sadly now closed)
http://edinburghpubs.blogspot.com/2010/01/rainbow-drumbraecorstorphine-sadly-now.html
The Rainbow (Drumbrae/Corstorphine - sadly now closed). Or the Bow, as it was affectionately known by its regular punters) was a Corstorphine institution! Beloved by local residents, underagers and radges, this pub was sadly shutdown after one fight too many. 22 February 2012 at 04:47. Was great at the weekends for karaoke and disco! A lot of good memories here! Was closed down in 2008 after a massive brawl left someone hospitalised! 29 March 2012 at 18:38. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Edinburgh Pub Reviews: The West End Hotel (Palmerston Place)
http://edinburghpubs.blogspot.com/2009/11/west-end-hotel-palmerston-place.html
The West End Hotel (Palmerston Place). Probably serves the best pint of Best in Edinburgh City Centre. This venue is a must attend on various Friday nights when Andy Chung ‘the Chungster’ is playing his unique brand of Scottish folk music. Great pint, great music, great banter! Edinburgh Pub Reviews: December 2009

Great for cheap drink if you can overlook the fact it reeks of piss! For the best steak pie money can buy (except on Sunday when they don't serve them). The beer is pretty good too. A good pint of Best and the option of various real ales. Frequented by a Mathew Kelly lookalike (the former presenter of. Stars In Their Eyes. See him in shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and sandals throughout the summer. Steak pie. Mmm. Joseph Pearce's (Elm Row). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Pub Inspector Website.

Edinburgh Pub Reviews: The Cramond Inn
http://edinburghpubs.blogspot.com/2009/11/cramond-inn.html
Probably the best bar in Edinburgh. The unique beer, cheapness of a pint, and good, friendly service really separates. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Pub Inspector Website. You may have noticed there's been no updates to this site for a long time. That's because the blog's slack kiwi editor left Edinburgh to return to New Zealand. The good news is that our dedicated Scottish pub researcher is still working hard destroying his liver in order to to bring you fresh Edinburgh pub reviews over at The Pub Inspector. Edinburgh Pub Reviews: January 2010
http://edinburghpubs.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The Mitre (Royal Mile). A typical Edinburgh pub, which is to say; it's a fairly average old man sort of pub, frequented by tourists, where you are charged over £3 a pint for the privilege of drinking a very average pint of beer, poured by an inexperienced and rude barman/barmaid, on the Royal Mile. The Rainbow (Drumbrae/Corstorphine - sadly now closed). Or the Bow, as it was affectionately known by its regular punters) was a Corstorphine institution! The Corstorphine Inn (The Corrie Inn). A bar which was...
