https://townhouseturnaround.wordpress.com/2014/07/09/drying-out-basement
The ongoing saga of my home renovations…. If you have trouble posting a comment… skip the email. When I first moved here, I had a dehumidifier in the basement. It worked great and kept it dry. At some point it broke and due to incredible sloth and laziness, it has taken me about five years to replace it. I just got a Frigidaire, Energy Star, 50 pint model. In the first three hours of operation, it filled up — 50 pints! Home Depot, you done me wrong →. One Response to “Drying out basement”. Email (Address...

And This Is Where I Knit: Flying Duchess
http://knittersitter.blogspot.com/2014/09/flying-duchess.html
And This Is Where I Knit. I take my knitting everywhere to take the edge off of moments that would otherwise drive me stark raving mad. Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. I used the Imperial Yarn Erin that I received in the August Yarnbox to make Flying Duchess. By ambah. It was an easy knit, although the cast on was 351 stitches. I used the cable cast on and a stretchy bind off that I believe is called the lacey bind off. I am a s...

Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much. Monday, September 22, 2014. Let me begin by saying that I hate the fact that I cannot get a good picture of my knitting with my damn camera. Ugh. This scarf is awesome and these pictures do not do it justice at all. The scarf is Holey Cocoa! I got 4 of them and I did not pay very much for it.

http://sofairahouse.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
So fair a house. Friday, July 15, 2011. About a year and a half ago, this handsome, barefoot boy with shoes of tan and his t-shirt on backwards asked his mother to knit him a pair of socks. A year ago, she got this far while on vacation in colorado. she put them away. Which is also old news. ツ. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Require a summer dishcloth. Asked about my rainbow cotton thread. Sunday, July 3, 2011. I also have a baby sweater to show, but after blocking. Hope you're enjoying your vacation! If you f...

And This Is Where I Knit. I take my knitting everywhere to take the edge off of moments that would otherwise drive me stark raving mad. Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much. Saturday, February 9, 2013. I decided to splurge the other day on some stitch markers. Although, splurge really isn't the correct word since these stitch markers are really well priced. It was just a little treat to myself and something in which I am always in need. ImplausibleYarn: A thrifting kind of weekend
http://www.implausibleyarn.com/2011/06/thrifting-kind-of-weekend.html
Monday, June 6, 2011. A thrifting kind of weekend. This was an amazing weekend. As in, these are the kinds of weekends I put up with winter for. There were some firsts. My mister and I went horseback riding on some back trails on a farm near the lake district. Excellent views of the mountains. It's alright to be surprised by these turn of events. Never underestimate the power of a fun sounding groupon. They just don't make cookbooks like these anymore. Or maybe they would if cookbooks relayed less on...
