I've decided that I need more knowledge on linkbuilding - i have accepted it comes down to hard work and graft, but I also suspect as with so much of SEO, that there is no one big secret! Wednesday, 18 July 2007. Well, well, well! What a turn up for the books - hahahaha! Have come in the office this morning, and lo and behold - http:/ www.clothes-shop.net/. Is indexed by Google, whilst Daves site is not showing anywhere! In a post later today, i'll reveal how i think i managed to get the site indexed so quickly ( within 2 days! Friday, 20 July 2007. It gets better and better! Searching Google this morning, i see my site clothes-shop.net has a few more links inbound pointing to it! It still doesn't rank anywhere yet, and i still haven't worked out how to do some of the simple optimisation tasks for the blog to get working, but all in good time! Http:www.fashion-brands.co.uk. Monday, 10 March 2008. Dialaphone Post no 2. Ok, so I actually meant to go over this stuff in the 1st post - its to do with the dialaphone. Site I mentioned in the first post today ( 2 posts in one day - steady on Tiger! Page is ranking at no 9 in Google - not bad considering its up against 600000 competitors - but no 9 is a LOT of traffic less than being in the top 4 or 5! So clearly I have some work to do! So whats a man to do? This is where i'm going to get creative with my dialaphone. Check back tomo...

Monday, 10 March 2008. Been a while since we blogged on here, nit fingers crossed we'll keep it up now! So whats happened on the challenge since I last left a post? Well, all sorts - my site www.clothes-shop.net. Is no 1 in Yahoo for the term Clothes Shop. So I guess I won that particular bet. But things have moved on and we now have a small army of sites - and I'm looking at SEO as pretty much a full time gig for the next couple of months to see how far I can push these sites. Let the games commence!
