Adventures of The Sweeties. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Summer is FINALLY here, yippee! Life on the homestead is getting busy. We decided to raise pigs again this year. We went out to the farm and Wyatt picked out these two cute little buggers and named them "Muddy" and "Dirty". They have grown really quickly, the above picture was in late May and below less than a month later. They should grow to be about 7 pounds. Wow, this has been a whirlwind of blogging for me! Adventures of The Sweeties. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Wyatt has grown in many ways but he is still really picky about his clothes. So during the party there was no way anyone was going to get him to wear a cap or gown. Sam had fun at the party too. He will be starting here at this preschool in the fall. Another big change is the start of organized sports. Wyatt played hockey this winter and loved it. Now he is playing tee ball and he actually wore the uniform them gave him- I was amazed! Race hard play hard.

Back in early April Ellen and I headed out to Hutlinana Hot Springs which is about a 5 hour drive from Delta out past Fairbanks and up the Elliott Highway. We almost made it but a few miles from the trailhead we got a flat tire :( But of course being the strong AK women that we are we got the tire changed and we back on our way in no time. Adventures of The Sweeties. Sunday, January 15, 2012. A Very Merry Christmas. Twas the night before Christmas and the house was overflowing with excitement of two small boys. The stockings were hung underneath the window with care. The cookies and milk were set out in hope that Santa would soon be there. Mama and Papa spent the night fretting about what time they would be awoken the next morning. Everything is ready, the elves worked their magic and got the presents set out and the stockings filled.

Christmas Eve was at our house again with the immediate family.Aunt Ellie, Uncle Jeff and Wyatt were not able to come home from Alaska this year -new Baby on the way, plus they just got back from Hawaii. If I had the choice of Hawaii or WI, I'd take Hawaii too! Gammy Gwen, Lexi, Dru, Poppa Jim and Great Grandpa Jim. Lexi, Poppa Gary, Gammy Pam and Dru. Mark made another wonderful Christmas dinner - Cornish Game hens with an awesome stuffing! We tried out Wii Bowling! Santa made it our house once again!
