Wednesday, October 8, 2008. After seeing his output on the show, this first piece was surprising because of the level of tailoring involved. However, nothing about this, or the rest of the collection says Spring 2009. Proportions=terrible. A guys idea of what a woman should wear. I'd wear these jeans though. I can't get past these pants. Gross. And a motorcycle jacket style corset? How is that country? Using that fabric for a pant is all wrong, it could have made a cute skirt. Stupid two straps- ahhh.

Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Kinda cool. I like stripes and flowers together. Good colors. Cruella Deville seems to be a personal hero of Kenley's. Of course she didn't listen to Tim about having the rope around a model's neck. It is really heavy, like this fabric. Very cute. Bridesmaid's dress though? This belongs on Sex and the City. Beautiful sleeves, full sleeves and shoulders but still shows her figure. Cute, but perhaps too easy. Why couldn't she have made something like this for the wedding dress challenge? As the song progressed, his backing band appeared and helped fill out the song until fading out into quietly sung "Oh oh's. I really, really wished he didn't open with this song, as it was the only song I wanted to hear, and its meaning has changed for me depending on my mood, so I was interested in seeing how it resonated live. But once everything settled, the highlights were not the ones I expected. A slight jab at the crowd.
