She could prod the flesh and it would respond just as she herself would. She walked all around it, this doppelganger, studying it, trying to ascertain if it was indeed her. The man who would win them the war. The man known only as the Doctor. 8221; He raised his eyebrows ...

The Third Zone: Non Fan Opinion
http://the-third-zone.blogspot.com/p/non-fan-opinion_14.html
A Matter of Perspective. The Claws of Axos. A little trivia before we begin. Originally we were supposed to watch Mawdryn Undead because we wanted this months Non Fan Opinion to be a Brigadier story in honour of Nick Courtney’s demise. That was the plan but Simon stubbornly refused to watch a story with the 5. Doctor and Ace. Unfortunately I had to threaten that or divorce…and it was on the fence for a while! I can foresee problems every time we go to watch a 5. 8217; Because it’s a spaceship! We cut to ...

The Third Zone: In Memoriam
http://the-third-zone.blogspot.com/2011/03/in-memoriam.html
A Matter of Perspective. Tuesday, 22 March 2011. Nicholas Courtney Tribute by Joe Ford. What a terrible loss. Not just to Doctor Who but to the fans. Nick Courtney was a firm supporter of the programme and dazzled audiences in conventions and appeared in various spin off programmes when the show was of the air. He was a fine actor and true gentleman of the sort there are very few about anymore. Here are my five personal favourite Brigadier stories…. He’s just horrible. The Mind of Evil –. You can't help ...
