I painted this one of Mt Tam too late to enter the O'Hanlon Gallery exhibition but I quite like how it came out. Only used two colors, Payne's grey and French ultramarine.I managed to get Serpentine Mountain and the previous Mist Over Mt Tam accepted in the juried exhibition. Lovely, reminds me of a Japanese painting! Thanks Caroline. Its always interesting what different people see in a painting. Beautiful Jean and congratulations on the two entries. I love this one too, Jean! Feels like a haiku!

Patterns In The Landscape. The colors are perfect and the use of the cling film is really effective. Thanks Billie. I enjoyed the experiment. Looks very nice. Would make a beautyful bigger painting. :). I love the colours too Jean. work so well together, look forward to seeing the bigger piece though I do know what you mean about practice pieces. why does that happen? Maybe because we are not investing as much in the practice piece and can be freer with it? Thanks Padmaja. I hope you are right.
