Wednesday, June 23, 2010. We just got back from Florida last night (well, this morning, technically.), and I couldn't resist looking through the pics! This one was taken alongside the clubhouse of the AMAZINGLY cool resort my hubby found for a song. about what we'd normally pay for a Super 8 or some such! I think he missed his calling as a travel agent. ;0) ) It was SUCH a fun, relaxing trip! We truly didn't want to come home! More pics to come; gotta get back to unpacking for now.

One of our local parks has an accurately-scaled model of the solar system set up along its pathways, and since the kids' imaginations are thoroughly captured by astronomy, we headed out to see it when we got our first rays of sunshine in eons! It was a GREAT outing:. I think Kendra was in "pirate face" mode. ha ha:. It did not dawn on me until later that this is probably what put Kendra's allergies into overdrive. She's allergic to weeds.
