3 Months, 2 Brits, 1 Country. Saturday, 8 November 2008. We were planning on going camping again this weekend, but for alcohol related reasons we weren't feeling too pretty on Thursday morning and instead decided to head into the city of Muscat, which is roughly a half hour drive from the school, for a poke around. Well actually we explored Muttrah, which is the in essence the port district, a short distance away from the main city itself. The "hard sell" definitely wasn't on the cards. I liked that.

3 Months, 2 Brits, 1 Country. Friday, 14 November 2008. Dinner was followed by a good chat and a roaring little camp fire; then at 1am Marcus and I decided to climb up the sand dune again. Since the moon was full, there was a surprising amount of light, and so bizarrely we could see well into the distance as we roamed further into the desert and ran like idiots up and down the dunes. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. This has been the crazy week I look forward to all year! I coordinate a bazaar here in Canby, Or and it is fantastic. Even though I dread having to put out all the signs, when I walk into the room full of artisans it is all worth it. The creations they make are of the highest quality so hard not to buy everything! Now that the show is over, I can relax (for a couple days, I am coordinating the church talent show this year now) and finally put up one of our favorite dinners.
