The Blog of LL and LK. Watching You Grow.Loving You So. Friday, January 23, 2009. Before I Was A Mom. . . A friend of mine sent this to me and I thought it was worth posting because it is true to the core! Before I was a Mom. I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom. Before I was a Mom. Before I was a Mom. Before I was a Mom. I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside m...

The Silvers: Outdoor snacks
http://carrieanddavidsilver.blogspot.com/2012/04/outdoor-snacks.html
Thursday, April 5, 2012. I like to get the kids out at least once a day for a walk, or wagon ride, or just to sit in the grass. The twins these days are especially loving playing in the grass. Really they just like to crawl around and look for things to eat - grass, acorns, dirt, mulch, sticks. Because all of that stuff is so yummy, you know! So all I do is chase them around and pry their little "snacks" out of their mouths. As you can see, Annie is the trouble maker when it comes to outdoor snacks!

The Silvers: Meet Princess Eric
http://carrieanddavidsilver.blogspot.com/2012/02/meet-princess-eric.html
Monday, February 13, 2012. We got a necklace and scarf and then Arden decided we needed a crown and tu-tu - the girl loves her princesses, what can I say? So we made a snowman princess, minus the real tu-tu. Arden really wanted to bring out one of her real tu-tu's but I told her we could make one out of snow instead. Once we were done I asked her what we should name the snowman. Me: Arden what is your snowman's name? Me: Hmmm, how about Princess Erica? Arden: No Mommy, Princess Eric. Each Day is a Gift.

Thursday, January 20, 2011. It's snow time again! Well the snow is in full force in the northeast. I think it's been 3 weeks now since I've seen our front yard! Ah - love the winter here! And that was before we even got outside in the snow. The snow made it even worse. By the end of our outdoor outing she did manage to get better at walking in the snow with the new snow boots. Not so sure about this. Ok, I think I'll try and walk. Let's just swing instead. One of many falls! Lily, Grace, and Georgia.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Fun at the Pumpkin Patch. Family shot at the pumpkin patch. We put Arden down to check out all the pumpkins and she was more interested in the dirt. She kept sticking her fingers in the dirt and then eating it. I showed her some of the apples on the trees and on the ground and immediately regretted this since she quickly picked one off the ground and tried to take a bite! Going on a tractor ride with Daddy. Getting a picture with Sarah. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. One of the d...
