Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Psalm 34:8. Thursday, September 30, 2010. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I have not enjoyed a game more than this one in a looong time! It was such a thrilling first half! The game started with 3 men parachuting in, which the kids really enjoyed. Then, with the crowd on their feet, we intercepted the football and quickly made a touchdown! This was my view for the first quarter. Thankful for a well stocked bag of tricks to keep the girl happy!

It is a tradition for each child who moves up into the first grade to be given a Bible. Jack took his Bible everywhere we went today. He was very proud that he knew where Matthew was in the Bible. Friday, November 26, 2010. Once again, we set forth on our annual trek to TX for Thanksgiving. Scott and I were dreading the drive. Abby really isn't the best traveler. She goes on sleep and hunger strikes when she's away from home. So we crossed our fingers, and the kiddos actually pulled through for us. At one point, both kids were asleep in the car!
