Tuesday, July 29, 2014. We've been eating well, chard, summer and zucchini squash, cukes, a few little tomatoes. usually devoured before we make it to the house. and the berries. yummy. We had enough berries to make some mixed berry muffins for church on Sunday. I am using the "therapy garden" to help me cope with the craziness happening right now at work. I must have a place of solitude after dealing with all the changes and "thinking" that is going on. Happy Tuesday. hope you all have a great week.

The blueberries are also doing quite well though we had a very dry spring. (not pictured here). We've enjoyed some rhubarb already and it has started to go to seed. We've had some good soaking rain this week and I'm sure that will help the garden perk up and get going rapidly. I've had enough Mom! Subscribe to: P...

Friday, April 18, 2014. Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia! Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia! Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia! Sing, ye heav’ns, and earth, reply, Alleluia! Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia! Where, O death, is now thy sting? Once He died our souls to save, Alleluia! Where thy victory, O grave? Soar we now where Christ hath led, Alleluia! Following our exalted Head, Alleluia! Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia! Hymns of praise then let us sing, Alleluia!

Green Twig: March 2015
http://greentwiggy.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 13, 2015. I've been busy planning the garden out for the coming year. I placed the seed order the other day to my seed companies of choice. R.H. Shumway's. I get those catalogs and the juices start flowing like sap in the maples in spring. Feels good to just be talking about it. Last year the Lord gave us such a wonderful harvest, that it's even more exciting to think about all things "garden" this year. Blackberries. I don't plant them, they just grow everywhere. Lupines also grow wild.
