McKenna loves this place and this is where we go to get her hair trimmed and get all "fancy" as she calls it! For the party they dress up the little girls in princess dresses, fix their hair, paint their nails and put on make-up! Let me tell you the girls love it! Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Yes I know it is August and yes I know it is 105 degrees in Dallas today but I am bound and determined to update this blog! So here I go at trying! On February 11th we had an amazing snow! We have been so blessed this year with such good snow. Sometimes I had to convince myself that we really were still in Texas! Well like all children McKenna loved the snow! I think she would have stayed out there all day if I had of let her! This snow was also really good snowman making snow!

Thursday, August 5, 2010. This year we decided to try our hand at a little home garden. My dad made for us this wonderful divided gardening area for us to plant the garden in. McKenna was so excited! She loves to help out in the yard and loved helping getting the garden going! She just didn't understand why it takes so long for the veggies to grow! For our first try we didn't do so bad either. Thursday, April 16, 2009. A couple of weeks ago I took McKenna and my nephew, Caleb, to the Arboretum! We went there with my friend Tammy and her two cute kiddos Stephen and Alden! McKenna had a blast! She loves doing anything with Caleb and she loves spending time with Stephen and Alden too! Fancy free and fabulous. Friday, July 16, 2010. As far as the rest of my life is going, not much has changed. I am going to be an Aunt at the end of August. I couldn't be more excited. It is just a little bittersweet though, because I will not get to meet my niece or nephew until Christmas time when Alison and Scott are coming home for a visit. Thank goodness for Skype. Monday, December 22, 2008. Snowed In - Days 3,4 and 5. So I haven't done a great job at posting each day with the things that kept us busy.sorry!
