I shed my cloak with reluctance and fearing. The layers revealing the season’s wrath. This heart that beats with trembling and flutter.

Just another WordPress.com site. Archive for December, 2013. Ode to a Fiend. On December 18, 2013 1 Comment. Ode To A Fiend. I miss it,. Immensely, at times. It was my friend. The loosener of my tongue. And a way to access my innermost thoughts. It beckoned it’s crooked finger. It gleamed it’s crystal shine. It became my master. And I the mistress, to do as pleased it. It deluded me to point of near insanity. It twisted and turned me. Cooled me,yet burned me. Threw away my fears. And told me I was strong.

Mad Madam Mel: Fox Pin Tutorial
http://www.madmadammel.com/2013/04/fox-pin-tutorial.html
I've created my first ever crochet pattern! A tiny fox pin, a big deal for me, so please be kind :). You could create a hair slide as I have here, or perhaps use it as a brooch, attach to a keyring, or use it to embellish another item. I also have another tutorial coming up soon for a larger version. I have also used UK terms through the tutorial, so:. Double crochet (dc) is US single crochet, half treble (htr) is US half double crochet. Insert hook in stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook.

As Told By Gifs. That One Time I Auditioned for A Musical…. Originally Written March 2015. And yes, this all actually happened. But the thing I’ve been learning about nerve-wracking situations is that most of the time, they’re completely self-inflicted. If you did something illegal and you’re sitting in an interrogation chair at the police station, you’re probably nervous as hell–why? You murdered the person! My nerves were soon soothed by the utter ridiculousness I felt learning choreography for the mus...

Thursday, October 8, 2015. Raising An Only - When Your Kid Is Not Like You. When you have more than one kid, most times, you get one like you, and one like the kid's other parent. My Kid is like her dad - academically smart, can name any song from any era within the first three notes, tightwad with their money (oh, sweet Jesus, tightwads, both of them). It kind of leaves me out in the dust because I am none of these. That's gotta be it. Because I don't relate to this kid one iota. Eighth grade us parenta...
