An Australian in Jinan: What shop is that?
http://ozinjinan.blogspot.com/2008/06/shopfronts.html
An Australian in Jinan. The peripatetic ramblings of a peripathetic rambler. Friday, June 6, 2008. What shop is that? How difficult is it to exist in China without understanding Chinese? Earlier I promised to post a range of photos showing shop fronts. I defy anyone who has no Chinese to identify these shops. Hint: most of them are restaurants and liquor/gift stores. And one is a foot massage shop - look for the feet! Hope you are having a great time. It's good to see there are other Aussies in Jinan!

Tottie's Blooms: December 2013
http://tottiesblooms.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Friday, 20 December 2013. I hadn't noticed it growing - in part because I usually park in another part of the car park where volunteers at the Caboolture Historical Village usually park their cars. However, the other day I saw a plant - clearly the seed had arrived by the wind or a bird, and the plant had grown to nearly five feet tall. The lovely flower on the top is below. Saturday, 14 December 2013.

Tottie's Blooms: Hollyhocks in China
http://tottiesblooms.blogspot.com/2014/05/hollyhocks-in-china.html
I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Sunday, 25 May 2014. Each country/culture has its own way of using flowers - and in China flowers are cultivated in pots often and then used in amazing displays. While these flowers were not in any spectacular display, they certainly painted an attractive picture near the main entrance of the university. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). GrandM.A. Adventure. About this grandma's study journey towards a Master of Arts (Writing). Sunday, January 9, 2011. I didn't realise that I had not posed for a while here. GrandM.A. Adventure. About this grandma's study journey towards a Master of Arts (Writing). Saturday, May 21, 2011. Time flies when you are having fun or studying. Here it is nearly at the end of May. I've just a few things to do to complete my work for this semester, and with any luck, a break of a week before the next semester's material arrives and Semester 2 for 2011 will be well under way.
