There was an error in this gadget. Friday, November 25, 2011. It’s a buffet of mostly sweets and a bit of food options. When you first sit down, they explain that you have to eat as much as you can and designated areas to throw away your trash. They basically explain the rules of the establishment. The rules were written on a scroll, which were laid out on the table in front of us. It’s a really interesting experience. For more information on it go to: http:/ www.ninja-kyoto.com/. There was an error in this gadget. Thursday, September 29, 2011. Living in Hirakata has really surprised me on many levels. I don't come from a city where; everyone rides bikes everywhere, the streets are narrow, vending machines are around every corner, rice fields are in random spots of the city and multiple shopping centers. Thus my hometown is boring compared to Hirakata. I even saw bamboo growing in someone’s backyard. Friday, September 16, 2011. Talk about culture shock. Namba, Osaka, Japan. When I...

There was an error in this gadget. Friday, October 21, 2011. In the city, there are a number of variety shops and also many interesting sights. The main attraction at my stop is the many torii gates everywhere. There are torii and shrines that lead up the side of the mountain up to the top. That hike is exhausting! But very much worth it. The shrines are dedicated to the Shinto God of rice, Inari. There are many fox statues at the shrines, meant to be the messengers of Inari. Friday, October 7, 2011.

The Adventures of Brianna | See where my adventurous life takes me!

The Adventures of Brianna. August 28, 2014 · 2:36 am. Days 68-72: Spectacular Shanghai and Coming Home. That night we walked The Bund and admired the skyline. I think Shanghai has the best skyline I’ve seen! It’s so colorful! The French Concession was nice, a lot quieter, and had some nice houses that were mostly behind gates. Also, almost all the streets were completely covered by tree branches. It was like being in a tree tunnel. Wednesday I woke up at 6:00am in Shanghai (5:00pm Tuesday CST), took the ...

The Adventures of Bri Rye & Black Bandit

The Adventures of Bri Rye and Black Bandit. Monday, May 27, 2013. This year we celebrated Memorial Day by going to the Denver zoo. We have lived here for almost 6 years and we had never been, and thought it would be a great activity to do with Bristol. I also bought Bristol this great hat for our trip and couldn't stop taking her picture in it because I thought she was so dang cute. We saw lots of great animals-. And Bristol made a new best friend. And of course more great pictures of cute baby in the hat.

The Adventures of Britney Anthony. Friday, September 10, 2010. Last Tuesday I started my first day in middle school attending Liberty! Since it's Friday now, I'm super tired, and can't wait to sleep 'till Sunday! So now, I have seven classes between 7:45 am and 2:30 pm. I gotta tell you, it's crazy getting home at 3:00, then an hour later seeing the elementary schoolers just getting off the bus at 4:00! It's wierd to think that that was me a year ago! Monday, August 2, 2010. You get the point. Bye! I sai...

The Adventures of Britney Shae in Japan

The Adventures of Britney Shae in Japan. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Wednesday, June 10th, 1:30 am. Today was my last day in Japan. I was pretty tired so I didn't do too much. I spent the day packing and updating my blog, trying to get ready to go home. This trip has been one of the best experiences of my life, but I am exhausted by it, to be honest. I am ready to come home tomorrow, and I can't wait to see my family. Now, I'm going to try to stay up for a while so that I can fall asleep on the plane&...Monda...

We have expanded our home by 2 feet! 2 tiny little baby feet. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. A change of heart. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. I don't think it's bad if others have that same that, but WOW, has the Lord changed my heart. When we felt the Lord calling us to do domestic adoption I still had a little fear about what our birth mother would be like. Would she want to ...I wil...
