Friday, August 23, 2013. I'm starting a home preschool! I'm so excited to be a teacher! I've been playing school ever since I was a little girl, and now I'm finally going to have a real classroom! With 8 boys and 1 girl! The student sorts six different tablets by weight from lightest to heaviest. Here is the order: cedar, pine, walnut, cherry, hickory, wenge. Friday, May 9, 2014. Travis is 6 years old and almost done with kindergarten. He has become a very proficient reader. He reads chapter books and studies his animal books. He knows how to classify any animal you can name. Travis still loves to draw, do rainbow loom, and play games on the computer. Travis got a new watch and he loves keeping us all updated on what time it is all throughout the day. We are doing great and excited for summer (for school to be done and not the heat). Sunday, January 2, 2011. After the funeral services, we went to the grave site, and Eric's dad dedicated the grave. The kids released balloons for Andrew. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. As I look forward to 2011, I am thrilled to have 2010 behind me. I am so happy for the strength my family has and the support of our family here in Washington and Idaho. I can not even express how wonderful it was to spend the holiday season with family. I did miss my mom, but I am hoping to get to Idaho this next summer.
