Kahuna International: June 2006

Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Life without a Code. How does a man live without a code? What else defines a man but his faithfulness to the beliefs of his heart? A code is a man's beacon. It is his lantern. When confronted with a situation, a code allows a man to act in accordance with his beliefs allowing him to remain in integrity. Without a code, a man simply responds to the challenges of the day with pragmatism. He acts according to what he can live with now, not in the future. Posted by Kahuna6 at 2:18 AM.

Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Abstractions Still Bleed Real Blood. His career was certainly all but over. And his freedom might be taken away as well. His wife and children, whom he had dragged down from Manhattan to North Carolina were at risk too. If he went away, who would take care of them? How serious did this get? Now I'm not saying that NSA wiretaps led to these arrests or saved the Pantano's lives but this is the type of thing that good, actionable intel produces. I don't believe him for a second.

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. I believe that it is and intellectual gymnastics notwithstanding, I haven't seen or experienced anything to the contrary. P.J. O'Rourke once wrote that the problem is not how to get government to work but how to get it to stop. I feel the same about organized religion. How do we keep it in its box? The Cold Light of Day. Musings on life, politics, travel and. Friday, February 10, 2006. Hysterical and bacchanalian.". Is how the Russian foreign ministry described President Mikhail Saakshvili, Georgia's temperamental but brilliant leader, and his reaction to the January 22 near simultaneous early morning explosions of two natural gas lines just inside Russia along its border with Georgia. The "enemy" whose actions were "outrageous blackmail". I'll let you decide. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Syriana. Pollyanna et al. Do you drive a hybrid because it makes you feel morally superior? Well that superiority is a house of cards. It's smoke and mirrors. Fictitious. Even if everyone in this country was to drive hybrids (a current impossibility because of trucking), the price of oil would still not drop any appreciable amount. The point of all this? Posted by Kahuna6 at 2:47 AM. Posted by Kahuna6 at 2:28 AM. Mosca and the Unions. How do they intend to combat this? If th...
