Well, when I pulled it up and saw my husband in drag, I thought, I must post! Can you guess which one is him? This was our fundraiser for Relay for Life. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. For my husbands 40th birthday I got him tickets to this weeks Cowboy game. My husband despises the Cowboys, he is a Steeler fan, so obviously I was thinking more about myself when I got this present. Anyway, we are going with all my sisters and brother-in-laws and I cannot wait! Now everyone please pray that my husband, the huge Steeler fan that will be decked out in Steeler gear, doesn't get into a fight, ha! Pictures will be posted as soon as we get back! Saturday, December 6, 2008. Well, we survived our first Thanksgiving with out the best cook in the world! It is kinda funny how things work out. We sat down at the table to have Thanksgiving dinner and teared up a bit, but we were so proud of ourselves that we couldn't cry. Instead we started clapping and cheering for ourselves! Thursday, April 24, 2008. I can't believe that I would actually do a blog, but I let my student talk me into it. She said that the only way they can keep up with me is if I start this blog so here we go! For those of you that don't know, Joey and I are expecting again. The timing couldn't be any better. I am due on August 23rd. I believe that is the day of Joey's first scrimmage! Here is a quick update on all the kids. Kyler is 2 now, I can't believe it, he is getting so big! Take care. Love to all.

We had such a great day last Friday. Julie had received three free Jump'n Land tickets from her school so we had to use them up before summer ended. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Who would have thought becoming a stay at home mom would result in "workman's comp". I am proof. I have recently been diagnosed with de Quervain's Tenosynovitis. Of course, when you wear a wrist brace people are going to ask questions. So in explaining my symptons one day to a good friend she simply said, "I bet you have de Quervain's Tenosynovitis! Life as it happens. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Last month we attended a Band Banquet for Daniel and Carley. I can't believe those two are in high school. Carly's about to start driving. They just got back from a trip to New York with their school. I haven't heard all of the stories yet but I'm sure they have some good ones. Tomorrow is her birthday. She'll be ONE! Life as it happens. Tuesday, July 8, 2008. The Dixon Family Reunion. We had the Dixon Family Reunion in early June. It's a one day affair which involves potluck and lots catching up with family. This year was the first year Grandma Dixon wasn't there which made it bitter sweet. We always have a good time visiting with everyone but there's never enough time to catch up on everything.
