We opened presents first thing Saturday morning and had a house full of friends come over that afternoon to celebrate her birthday. She was completely spoiled rotten! David and I were talking the other day about how Kyle has a different set of qualities from both of us. He's so sociable like David and very emotional like me. David, Amanda, Kyle, Katie, and Kenzie. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Looking back on May, we thought it was hot at the time but didn't have any idea of how hot it was going to get. We spent quite a few afternoons playing in the sprinkler while David tried to save our lawn with some extra watering. The Lott-Pettus family reunion was held in Goliad on the Saturday before Katie's birthday so we drove down early to visit with everyone and then celebrated her birthday early Sunday morning. Momma made her pink cupcakes with pink icing and let her eat them for breakfast.
